Take a brief spring escape with the RKL team aboard the Lady Sarah on the beautiful waters of the Chesapeake Bay for a high-flying performance of the Navy’s elite flight demonstration squadron, the Blue Angels.

An annual tradition, the Blue Angels’ practice demonstration precedes its performance as part of the U.S. Naval Academy’s commencement activities. The picturesque Chesapeake Bay serves as a unique backdrop for entertainment and networking with invited guests and RKL team members. Enjoy an afternoon taking in the Blue Angels’ unmatched execution of precision, coordination and teamwork while enjoying great food, drink and company aboard a comfortable chartered touring vessel.

TIMELINE

7:00 a.m. – Bus stop #1, departure from Camp Hill Mall (Boscov’s)

7:45 a.m. – Bus stop #2, departure from York Galleria Mall (Boscov’s)

9:30-10:00 a.m. – Approximate arrival time in Annapolis

10:00 a.m. – noon – Enjoy local shops and sights

12:00 p.m. – Arrive at Annapolis City Dock and check in

12:30 p.m. – Depart (prompt)

12:30-4:15 p.m. – Enjoy lunch and the Blue Angels air show aboard the Lady Sarah

4:15 p.m. – Return to Annapolis City Dock

4:30 p.m. – The charter ends and guests board buses

4:45 p.m. – Depart on buses

6:45 – 7:30 p.m. (approximate) – Arrival in York and Camp Hill, respectively

A catered lunch, beer, wine and non-alcoholic beverages aboard the Lady Sarah are included.

Transportation Arrangements (optional)
Due to activities planned for the U.S. Naval Academy graduation later that week, the town of Annapolis will be bustling. For your convenience, enjoy a chartered bus ride directly to our destination. See below for our two locations to board our round-trip bus service, and please note that departure times are prompt.

7:00 a.m. – Camp Hill Mall Parking Lot, Camp Hill (meet outside Boscov’s)

7:45 a.m. – York Galleria Mall Parking Lot, York (meet outside Boscov’s, near Red Robin)

Parking
If you prefer to drive separately, parking is available at the City Parking Garages in Annapolis, MD. The closest garage to the Annapolis City Dock is the Noah Hillman Garage. Parking is anticipated to be in short supply; please plan accordingly.

In Case of Inclement Weather
While we’ve asked for sunny skies, we know Mother Nature doesn’t always listen. Lady Sarah will cruise rain or shine at the discretion of the captain, regardless of whether the Blue Angels can perform that day.  Obviously the safety of the pilots is of top concern and the Blue Angels may not perform in high winds or forceful rain.
