RKL Ranked 64th Among Nation’s Top 100 CPA Firms

RKL Ranked 64th Among Nation's Top 100 CPA FirmsLANCASTER, PA (March 19, 2018) – RKL LLP continues to climb the rankings of the top U.S. CPA firms, fueled by a fast-growing lineup of in-demand advisory services and an expanding geographic and industry focus. Industry publication Accounting Today ranked RKL 64th on its “2018 Top 100 Firms” list, one spot higher than the firm’s 2017 position.

Accounting Today ranks the nation’s top 100 firms by annual revenue. RKL claimed the 64th based on nearly $68 million in revenue for 2017, an annual increase of 9.21 percent. The firm was also ranked as the 15th largest in the Mid-Atlantic region, which includes Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York.

“We’re proud that RKL’s sustained growth continues to propel our rise among the nation’s top firms, but we’re even prouder of what this recognition represents: our continued pursuit of solutions, strategies and real results that drive our clients forward,” said Edward W. Monborne, RKL CEO.

2017 marked another year of innovation and success at RKL on behalf of the firm’s talented team and growing client base. RKL expanded the focus on its Financial Services Industry Group under the leadership of new partner Barry Pelagatti, building upon its long-standing reputation as one of the nation’s top credit union auditors and in-demand internal audit and risk management practices. The firm’s investment advisory subsidiary, RKL Wealth Management, recently reached the significant $1 billion milestone for assets under management/advisement.

RKL capitalized on geographic and industry synergies with two mergers, both effective on January 1, 2018. Merging in Mechanicsburg-based Padden Guerinni & Associates allowed RKL to complement its focus on the Greater Harrisburg area and the senior living and credit union industries. RKL expanded the portfolio of technology solutions its IT consulting subsidiary RKL eSolutions offers to new industries including professional services, nonprofits, service-based organizations and public sector entities by merging in California-based Arxis Technology, a Sage Intacct premier partner.

RKL’s national ranking by Accounting Today follows another accolade late last year, in which the firm made its debut on the “Best Places to Work in Pennsylvania” list and was named the #10 best place work among large employers.

(PGA) will be joining the firm as the result of a merger effective January 1, 2018.
