LANCASTER, PA (October 25, 2021) – RKL LLP today introduced James L. Simers as the firm’s new Talent Development Manager within its Human Resources Department.
In this role, Simers leads RKL’s talent development function and strategy and supports the firm’s strategic objectives through the growth and development of its team members. His responsibilities include managing RKL’s learning management system, supporting activities related to achieving and maintaining designations, onboarding new team members and overseeing ongoing professional and leadership development opportunities. Simers specializes in developing onboarding programs, designing and implementing training for HR technology system rollouts and delivering leadership development and executive coaching curriculum.
Simers brings a diverse range of professional experience to his new role at RKL, including six years as an elementary school teacher; four years running a landscape design business; six years as a training specialist; and five years as a learning and development manager.
Simers holds a B.S. in Psychology from Sacred Heart University, an M.A. in Educational Technology from Fairfield University and a Graduate Certificate in Workplace eLearning & Performance Support from Boise State University. He is a member of the Association for Talent Development and the eLearning Guide. Simers resides in New Holland, PA.
