LANCASTER, PA (September 14, 2026) Ed Monborne, Partner and former CEO of nationally leading advisory firm RKL, was named a 2026 Icon Honoree by Central Penn Business Journal. Icon Honors recognizes Central Pennsylvania business leaders age 60 and older for their notable professional success and strong leadership within and beyond their chosen fields.
After 15 years as RKL’s CEO, Monborne transitioned out of the role on September 1 and will retire in December 2026. During his tenure, he led RKL’s transformation from a regional CPA firm into a diversified, nationally recognized professional services firm.
Under Monborne’s leadership, RKL grew revenue by more than 450%, reaching $150 million in 2025, and expanded its team by more than 300%. He helped broaden the firm’s service offerings to include private wealth, HR consulting, M&A advisory, cybersecurity, and specialized tax consulting.
