LANCASTER, PA (May 1, 2019) – RKL LLP today announced that Michael De Stefano, CPA, has joined the firm as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). He succeeds in this role Kevin Lightner, CGMA, PAFM, who retired from the firm on April 30 after 18 years as CFO.
As CFO, De Stefano will lead and manage firm wide financial operations in close collaboration with RKL leadership to support and achieve the firm’s strategic objectives.
De Stefano’s new role marks his return to the firm where he got his start in the accounting industry. In 1995, he began his career as an RKL staff accountant and rose to the position of Audit Manager. De Stefano became the controller of a large transportation and logistics company in Middletown, PA in 2009, and most recently served as the company’s CFO and Vice President of Finance.

De Stefano is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) and Institute of Management Accountants (IMA). He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Bloomsburg University. De Stefano and his family reside in Elizabethtown, PA.
