LANCASTER, PA (October 14, 2026) — Just two days after the November 3 General Election, RKL LLP will bring together two of Pennsylvania’s foremost voices in public opinion research and business policy for an early, business-focused analysis of the results and what they may signal for employers, business owners, and organizational leaders. Registration is now open on RKL’s website.
The free webinar, “Unpacking the 2026 General Election Results: What’s Next for Business Owners and Leaders,” will be held on Thursday, November 5, from 2–3 p.m. EST. The conversation will feature Berwood Yost, Director of Franklin & Marshall College’s Center for Opinion Research, and Luke Bernstein, President and CEO of the Pennsylvania Chamber of Business and Industry. Eric Wenger, Partner at RKL, will moderate.
RKL will be among the first to convene Pennsylvania experts for an objective discussion of significant federal and state outcomes, emerging voting trends, and the election’s potential business and policy implications as results continue to take shape.
At the federal level, the composition of the U.S. House and Senate will influence the direction, scope, and pace of policymaking during the next phase of the administration. In Pennsylvania, the balance of power between the governor’s office and the General Assembly will help determine the Commonwealth’s legislative and regulatory agenda.
“Election results have implications that extend well beyond the campaign trail,” said Wenger. “Business leaders need a clear, nonpartisan view of the changing policy environment, the issues that may gain momentum, and the developments worth monitoring as government priorities take shape.”
During the webinar, Yost and Bernstein will discuss:
- Major election results and voting trends in Pennsylvania and across the country
- Potential implications for public policy, regulation, and government priorities
- Issues employers and business leaders should watch as federal and state post-election agendas emerge
- How organizations can incorporate a broader post-election perspective into business planning and priority-setting
Yost leads one of Pennsylvania’s most established public-opinion research organizations. The Center for Opinion Research also directs the Franklin & Marshall College Poll, Pennsylvania’s longest-running statewide poll.
Bernstein leads the Pennsylvania Chamber of Business and Industry, the statewide voice of business, which represents employers across industries and advocates for policies that support economic growth, job creation, and a competitive business environment in the Commonwealth.
